My Wedding Bell was established in 1980 in San José, California. Along with our staff, we travel worldwide to produce unique wedding films and photography for our valuable clients.
My Wedding Bell offers a very unique and creative style for capturing your special day. We use a “cinematic” approach when filming. We want you to feel the same emotion as you did on your actual day.
Our main mission is to ensure that your wedding story is told so generations are able to relive the mystique, passion, and excitement of your day.
We are based in San Jose, CA, but can be booked for weddings through out USA & Canada. Please make an appointment with NO obligation to watch a 30 minutes presentation which will help you with total understanding of our profession as well as many ideas which will help you with your wedding preparation.
Capturing
Based on your package selection we like to arrive while everyone is getting ready. We capture the anticipation of the day as well as the establishing shot of the venue, along with all the small details. During the ceremony, we captures all the events as it happens and don’t edit anything out unless so wished.
We stay to the back or off to the side during the ceremony for a non-obtrusive approach. During the reception, we use low wattage lights ensure a great image. We capture all the special events as well. (Speeches, father/daughter dance, cake cutting, guest interaction….) We usually capture between 3 – 8 hours of raw footage throughout the day.
Editing
When editing your video we use a very clean and elegant style. For special effects, we classically use black & white, sepia color, and vintage movie effect. We try to minimize them so we don’t take away from the emotional aspect. The music that you choose and provide gives us a greater insight on how you want the key edited portions of the wedding DVD to flow. Music Tempo and pacing is very important to the overall DVD will look and flow of your DVD. Your final video is typically between 45 minutes and 1hour,45 minutes depending on the Ceremony Length. Each DVD will have a wedding day highlight reel that recaptures the day.
Final Product
All of our videos are in DVD format. (Unless otherwise requested) We have a Blu-Ray Option that is available so you can get true High Definition. Your DVD comes in a black leatherette DVD folio. The extra DVD’s will be DVD standard size jewel cases. We quote between 6-8 weeks to receive your final product, depending on the time of year.
